Visit counts
We count visits with an analytics provider (EU). It records the page, the referring site, country, browser and device type, and how far down the page you read. No cookies are used. A random visit number lives in your browser's session storage until you close the tab.
Asking first
Readers in Europe are asked before anything is counted, and nothing is counted without a yes. Use "Statistics choice" in the footer to change your answer.
Hosting
The hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to keep the site secure and running.
